Chicago is one of America's major cities that we have yet to visit. Thanks to a spring travel promotion we received, we'll be spending Memorial Day weekend in Chicago.
On Thurday, May 24th, we'll depart from San Francisco about 10:00 a.m. and fly non-stop to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, arriving about 4:00 pm Chicago time. With luck, we'll arrive at our hotel, the Fairmont Chicago, in the heart of the downtown "Loop" area, about an hour later.
We've yet to plan our activities for the trip, but as you will see from the links to "Chicago Attractions and Tours" on the left side of this page, there's lots to see and do in The Windy City.
On Tuesday, May 29th, we'll hop a plane from O'Hare about mid-day and fly non-stop back to San Francisco. By the end of the afternoon, we should be back home in Marin.
